One of the latest trends in the paranormal is the paranormal conference. If you aren't familiar with them, they are basically places where people who are interested in the paranormal get together to discuss a variety of topics. There are often classes or seminars, people trying to sell goods, and special events tied to the conference. These are held all over the country.
While some conferences are really just out to make money (look out for ones with high admission costs) they can also be great places to meet other people interested in the paranormal, to network with ghost or cryptid enthusiasts, or just learn a thing or two.
If you are involved in the paranormal community, or just interested in learning more about it, a conference can be a great place to try things out.
Have any of you ever attended any sort of professional conference? If so, did you get anything out of the experience?
