Strange creatures are being spotted all over this week!
Some people believe someone caught an unknown creature on video in Iceland. You can see the video here and read more about it here. I'm pretty skeptical of this one, because the video does a lot of jumping and you never get a good look at it, but you can decide for yourself.
Well, this isn't exactly paranormal, but it is interesting. Scientists discovered a giant shrimp off the coast of New Zealand. You can see it here. It does make you wonder what other things are out there that haven't been discovered yet.
A purple squirrel was found in Jersey Shore, PA. No one seems to know why it's purple. You can see it here.

I'm not too sure about that icelandic worm thing. I agree that you can't see it clearly, but if it was a fishing net that broke free, as they say, I don;t understand how it can 'worm' its way along - and against the current too. You can see that enough.
ReplyDeleteAs for the purple squirrel, I think it's eaten something, maybe some type of berry. If you feed yellow canaries food laced with tomatoes they go pink. Maybe this is the same, only purple...
That shrimp is enormous. I wonder what's going on with our oceans and whether or not it is related to the radiation pouring into the seas from Fukishima.
ReplyDeleteOh good lord...I just thought about Godzilla. Maybe the shrimp is a precursor to Godzilla.
I'm guessing the squirrell probably got into something purple but you never really know.
ReplyDeleteI hope we don't get Godzilla sized shrimp. That would be one scary movie. Shrimp are creepy enough normal sized.
