Weekly News Round-up 3/23/11

This week in the paranormal...

Recent lizard sightings in Europe have stirred up debate that the lizards might actually be The Tatzelwurm, a cryptid lizard. Forteantimes has the article here.

AOL News posted several articles about aliens including one about rocker Sammy Hagar's belief in ET's and piece about Nation of Islam and the role UFO's play in their beliefs.

Phantoms and Monsters posted a video of a possible Bigfoot taken in Florida and a video of a strange noise that caused the earth to shake in Florida (there's no evidence of earthquake activity.)  Scroll down below the Bigfoot video to see the other article and video.

The UFO Clearing house posted a description of a mothman sighting in Japan shortly before the recent disaster. You can find it here.

  1. The whole idea of the mothman is really strange. It's interesting that someone saw him in Japan prior to all that.

  2. I agree that the whole mothman thing is pretty strange.

  3. Were there sightings of the mothman before the earthquake in Haiti or the one that struck Peru? It's got me curious because it doesn't make sense to me that there wouldn't be a sighting before a major catastrophe on that scale. Otherwise...what would make Japan unique? Right?

  4. I haven't heard any stories from Haiti or Peru but I would imagine that people living in less developed countries would have fewer outlets to report sightings. I have heard stories about sightings in California before a minor earthquake so it's hard to tell what is really going on. Everyone that's reported seeing a mothman (that I know of) has been American so maybe it's something that Americans are looking to see. Plus if you hadn't heard of the mothman thing you might just asume it was a large bird or animal. There's just not enough information out there right now to really understand it.

  5. According to David Icke, the British royal family are all lizards. If the mothman has being spotted before numerous disasters then surely it's worth investigating further.
