I understand the ghost-bride practice in China. Especially since women are often looked at as lesser and are supposed to look after the man at all times in their culture. Their culture also doesn't necessarily see marriage equating in someone loving another so...

Oh there is no rest for women...even when they are dead. I'm sure the selling ghost thing originated in the head of a man.
